Do you have a young actor in your household, school, club, etc. aged 11-16 who is working at a career in Hollywood?
One World Stage & Screen (OWSS) is offering scholarships to Los Angeles-area young actors to the Studio C Artists – Fall 2015 Acting Program, which runs from September 19th through December 16th. The program is taught by film/TV professionals – casting director/producer Michael Sonntag and Oliver Kieran-Jones (“Glee”, “Pretty Little Liars”, “Episodes”). This is a 12-week intensive acting program offered at their studio in Hollywood on Wednesdays from 4-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. Classes are twice a week for all students for this 3-month program. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the studio in Hollywood.
More details about the acting program are available at http://www.institute.studiocartists.com/act_kids_fall2015.html.

One World Stage & Screen (OWSS) is an IRS approved nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed to serve as a public and charitable organization, aiding disadvantaged and at-risk individuals through the performing arts. This approach offers vital knowledge, training, resources, and referrals helping individuals to identify and build sound careers. In achieving these dreams, these individuals become self-sufficient contributors to society. The performing arts can be such a positive force for change to enrich and redirect people’s lives – and yet, so many actors, writers, directors, and other creative artists don’t have access to the training and on-the-job skills necessary to forge a career on stage and screen. This is OWSS’s aim – to provide the tools necessary to these individuals so they can participate in the performing arts, when they otherwise would not have the ability to do so.
